The Waze Carpool app has provided passengers the capacity to open their vehicles to drivers to save on gas, make some money, and bring some cars off the highway as well. To assist riders plan their rides through the week to save time on scheduling, a calendar is being introduced to Waze Carpool this week.
The Waze Carpool app was updated with a fresh timeline layout based on user feedback. This fresh design incorporates a calendar that makes it a little easier for drivers and cyclists to schedule their rides for the week.
For drivers, this update provides them the choice of merely setting times when to drive and where to go. They can invite drivers from there to join the carpool and see who is most likely to react. On the other hand, riders can use this new calendar to set when they need a ride and see who’s available or who’s looking for riders. When somebody joins the carpool, both parties will be notified. All other requests / invitations will be cancelled once someone accepts a ride.
In their recent updates, both the Waze and Waze Carpool applications should feature this new calendar function.
