Google Drive can now enter data about organized PDF forms for Android and iOS. This involves completing text fields, checkboxes and buttons for radio as well as choosing options from drop-down menus. This function is not available on XFA forms and does not help very useful e-signatures, sadly.
The PDF preview screen brings to the middle of the screen a broad “Fill out form” FAB. Users can also tap a field to raise the keyboard or create selections directly. Edits can be saved as a revision or as a fresh copy once full.
The new PDF fill-out feature of Google Drive is rolling out on Android and iOS beginning today and will be published in full in the coming weeks. It is accessible for all versions of the G Suite and is activated by default.
