If you’ve got Google Nest cameras or thermostats in your house, you’re not alone this morning if they don’t work properly with the service down. It seems that the servers of the service are having some problems.
Posts from our own readers on DownDetector and on Twitter both confirm that this morning Nest is down for quite a few users. The problem does not appear to be incredibly widespread, impacting users in the United Kingdom and northwestern United States in general.
Many users report their services being backed up at this time, so Nest seems to be addressing the issue behind the scenes.
On Twitter, the official Google Nest account states that the company is aware of the situation and is looking into what is happening. Ideally in the next few hours, things will be patched up.
Hi there, thanks for reaching out. Our team is still looking into this. We'll get back to you once we get an update.
