Stadia Pro offers discounts when buying games in addition to a free title each month. On November 19th, initial deals went live with the release of the site and ended December 3rd. Any immediate replacements are available the day after.
The crop of Stadia Pro deals were described by Google at the release as intended for Black Friday. Six titles in different editions, bundles and add-ons saw price cuts of more than 50%: Assassin’s Creed Odyssey, Final Fantasy XV, Metro Exodus, Mortal Combat 11, NBA 2K20, and Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition.
Everyone had a December 3rd expiration date— until 11:59PM PT, and were branded with a red “Pro” badge highlighting the new price. Google removed the carousel “Stadia Pro deals” from the Stadia Store yesterday. It has been replaced by a “new release” big card advertising Red Dead Redemption 2: Launch Edition.
Before launch, some speculated that on every purchase, Pro deals would be a discount compared to Stadia Base’s full price. So far, it seems that each month offers may be limited to one or two weeks, rather than some being available constantly.
Google still has to communicate when new Stadia Pro deals will be available, but an end-of – the-month holiday season-oriented round would be ideal once people receive Premiere Editions.
