The biggest issue facing Google Stadia right now is the amount of content available. Not only is the list short, but the exclusives are not yet convincing. Stadia Games and Entertainment is planning to fix this, and now Google is bringing Typhoon Studios to assist in this endeavor.
Today Google announced that Stadia Games and Entertainment would be joining Typhoon Studios. Just two years ago, independent developers from that studio founded their work, and so far, just one game has been announced.
Journey to the Savage Planet is a first-person adventure game that drops players onto an uncharted planet with minimal gear to explore the planet and catalog it to determine if it is suitable for human habitation. It is a very creative game that looks like a lot of fun. It’s a good sign, if anything, of what the studio will bring to the table for the original content of Stadia.
From January 28, 2020, the game comes to PC, Xbox One, and PS4. There is no confirmation yet, somewhat hilariously, that Stadia is also going to get the game. That’s probably something that Google was going to push the studio to do.
