OnePlus is getting ready to launch its new “Nord” mid-range smartphone in the next couple of weeks, and more details have come out late. A new report today reveals that there will be two selfie cameras in “OnePlus Nord”
The “Nord” will house two cameras in its hole-punch monitor, according to Android Central. More specifically, to back up that, the device will have a primary 32MP sensor and an 8MP shooter. What is used for that secondary sensor? Your guess is not as good as ours right now.
Notably, this is the first major selfie camera upgrade in a OnePlus phone in quite some time, as everything from the OnePlus 3 to the OnePlus 8 has been using a 16MP sensor. It’s also interesting that OnePlus is debuting this new design on a device that is expected to be on the affordable side.
In addition to the recorded four shooters found at the back of the OnePlus unit, these two selfie cameras on “Nord” would also be. Tipster Max J mentioned the detail. This is what the Snapdragon 765G powering “Nord” is capable of, but again, it’s still shocking to see all of this in a super inexpensive smartphone.
Whatever the case may be, there is surely plenty to look forward to here. OnePlus is due to launch “Nord” on 10 July.
