The Poco M2 Pro has now been officially released in India, with the Xiaomi spin-off packing for a bargain-basement price tag in some daunting specifications.
Let’s start with this India-only handset setup, though. It is not small at 6.67 inches, and comes with an FHD+ LCD display with a central punch-hole notch. Sadly, the Poco M2 Pro doesn’t come with a high refresh rate display. It’s just a 60Hz refresh rate, instead.
Expect chipset Snapdragon 720G, 4 or 6GB RAM, 64 or 128GB, or internal storage. Despite the existence of a microSD card slot to expand that memory capacity, should you wish. That of the whopping 5,000mAh battery is the biggest inclusion. The Poco M2 Pro also includes 33W fast charging, which should help significantly boost the top-ups.
At the rear you can find a quad-camera setup consisting of a 48-megapixel main sensor, an ultra-wide-angle 8-megapixel lens, a 5-megapixel macro and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. At the front, a 16-megapixel selfie camera will play host to the punch-hole notch.
Some of you may glance the Poco M2 Pro and recognize the design. Well, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro has many similarities. This handset is a tweaked version of that unit, effectively.
The Poco M2 Pro comes in three colors: blue , green, and black. It will start for the 4GB/64 GB model at just Rs. 13,999 (~$185), while the 6GB/64 GB version will cost Rs. 14,999 (~$200), the top tier 6GB/128 GB model will cost Rs. 16,999 (~$225). The Poco M2 Pro will be Flipkart exclusive and will go on sale from 14 July.
