Despite proposed limited global availability the OnePlus Nord is highly awaited. Now, thanks to leak press renders, we’ve got our best look ahead to a July 21 launch on OnePlus Nord.
Evan Blass shared the pictures on his pay-for Patreon page, the OnePlus Nord being especially sleek compared to the OnePlus 8 devices. Not only that, but he shared a portion of what seems to be a case that pays homage to YouTuber tech-teardown JerryRigEverything.
On the front you can see the quad-camera setup, while on the front the dual punch-hole camera notch looks eerily close to the one seen on the X50 5 G realm — which was introduced recently in Europe. We expect the OnePlus Nord to come with a 48-megapixel main sensor, flanked by an ultra-wide 8-megapixel macro, 5-megapixel, and 2-megapixel depth sensor.
As per these renders, it doesn’t look like we’ll see a headphone jack, plus the volume rocker is still on the left side, while the sleep-wake button and alert toggle are on the right. At this point, we ‘re just interested in how the device is running, and what it can do. Below, you can check them out:
No, these leaked OnePlus Nord press renders don’t really add much extra to the table besides a new design perspective. Two of these images, however, show some upcoming accessories in the form of a clear case — hopefully coming bundled — and what looks like a case of JerryRigEverything. It showcases the internals much like skins made by some third-party sellers in the last years. Blass then shared some more case renders which, to say the least, have some interesting designs.
The JerryRigEverything case has a QR code which will open the music video for Eiffel65’s late-90s Eurodance hit “Blue” — consider yourself meme’d.
