The Samsung Galaxy Watch 3 has now leak into a hands-on video showcasing the updated design and confirms the internals plus several new additions to hardware and software.
TechTalkTV has uploaded this short hands-on video to YouTube and while the three-minute video doesn’t throw up many big surprises, it confirms a lot of what we already suspected plus gives us a great look at the brand new hardware.
We get a glimpse of the Galaxy Watch 3’s 41 mm variant, which comes with a 1.2 “AMOLED display with a physical outer bezel. The bezel seems to have been shrunk quite significantly in comparison with previous generations, while the buttons are also much flatter than previous models.
The design feels like an update of previous Galaxy Watch models, but with some major revisions. The rotating bezel will allow you to control most of the device’s UI — which is a key selling point. IP68 resistance to water and dust plus 5ATM ratings means this smartwatch is ideal for active wearers.
This short video also reveals that the Galaxy Watch 3 will come with 1GB of onboard storage and 8GB of RAM. Both on view are the stainless steel frame and leather strap, which was also known in recent weeks due to rating board listings.
One notable addition is that of an ECG sensor and blood pressure monitor. Also, both of these additions make sure the Galaxy Watch 3 is able to keep up with the features of the Apple Watch Series 5.
We expected to see the Galaxy Watch 3 ahead of Note 20 series but it looks like it will be launched alongside the upcoming smartphones of the flagships.
