With its Galaxy Buds+, Samsung is making some of the best truly wireless earbuds on the market right now, but the company’s latest release is trying something different. The Samsung Galaxy Buds Live are official, and they look like beans, yep.
The Samsung Galaxy Buds Live vary in a handful of ways from the Galaxy Buds+ but the design is the most noticeable. These are by no means traditional but Samsung says this unique design will be more user-friendly while still sitting more flat in the ear.
There’s no perfect seal with your ear as a result of this design, but Samsung still has active noise cancellation built-in to block out the world around you, so if you turn it off, you’ll be able to enjoy letting those ambient noises in.
Buds Live delivers the audio through an AKG tuned 12 mm driver. That’s a bigger physical motor than the Galaxy Buds+ and Samsung also says a “bass duct” will improve the lows so it all sounds “deep and rich.” There are three microphones on Galaxy Buds Live to support active noise cancellation as well as the “Voice Pickup Unit,” which is supposed to improve voice quality in calls.
