Samsung unveiled the first Android Foldable last February but the launch was famously pushed back to September to allow retrofits and additional hardware protections. The company is now back at an Unpacked event that is highlighted by Note 20 with the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 5G.
- Samsung Galaxy Note 20, Note 20 Ultra go official $999 w / Snapdragon 865+
- Samsung Galaxy Tab S7, S7+ undercut iPad Pro with 120Hz starting at $649
- Samsung Galaxy Watch $399 w/ new health features debuts, updated design
- Samsung Galaxy Buds Live delivers bean-shaped design and active noise cancellation at $169
Given that the event ‘s central focus, Samsung is light on today’s foldable details. There is a basic product page and you can reservation now, with more details coming up in September. Pre-orders are expected to open on September 1.
The next Android Foldable from Samsung starts with a new name by placing the Fold under the “Galaxy Z” logo introduced with the Flip. What the company officially announced today is about the displays almost entirely. The Fold 2 has an almost edge-to – edge cover display that measures 6.2-inches and is considerably larger than the 4.6-inches of the predecessor. For the larger 7.6-inch main display there’s a punch-hole camera, as well inside.
In the meantime it will be available with copper hinge in Mystic Bronze or Mystic Black with black one. Samsung also partnered with Galaxy Z Fold2 Thom Browne limited Edition.
