OnePlus has debuted a special tie-in edition of the OnePlus 8T to go with Cyberpunk 2077 ahead of the delayed release of the game in a few weeks.
The Cyberpunk 2077 Edition OnePlus 8T is pretty much identical to the standard model on the spec sheet, coming up for pre-order today in China. It has a 1080p 120Hz display of 6.55 inches, a Snapdragon 865 chip, 12GB of RAM, 256GB of storage, a 65W fast charging 4,500mAh battery, and Android 11. However, the Chinese variant of this phone is the only one released so far, and it runs on top of the skin of HydrogenOS.
For this version of the OnePlus 8T, its Cyberpunk 2077-inspired design is the big highlight. A speckled black colorway is adopted by the phone that has yellow accents along the sides and bottom. There is also the logo of the game on the bottom of the rear panel.
OnePlus has also extended the width of the rear camera module to nearly the entire width of the phone itself, to round out this design. Apart from looks, however, the bigger module serves no additional purpose. That’s a bit of a shame because other accessories probably won’t fit with this model, apart from the included case. You can also find some special edition stickers and cards included in the box. HydrogenOS is also slightly tweaked outside of the box to represent the game.
This edition of the OnePlus 8T will cost ¥3,999 in China.
