Some details of the upcoming smartphone were shared by Steve Hemmerstoffer(@onleaks) today.

The design of the Samsung Galaxy A52 5G will be much like its predecessor, the Galaxy A51. With a centered punch-hole cutout and minimal bezels, it features a 6.5-inch display. There will be a 6.5-inch device with a centered punch-hole display (Infinity-O). Glasstic, the same material used on the back of most of the Galaxy A phones, is the back plate. It is not true glass, but a material made of plastic that is made to look and feel like glass.

As you can see it has a design very close to that of its predecessor, although the island of the camera has grown wider and now each shooter has different rings within the island around it. It’s a style that’s somewhat more like what Samsung has been doing with its flagships lately, and it also looks much better than what we’ve seen in the past on A-series phones. It’s not a major difference, but it’s the biggest one you’ll find, design-wise, between the Galaxy A51 5G and the A52 5G.

A total of four picture sensors along with an LED flash are housed in the rectangular camera bump on the rear. Spec details on both front and rear camera sensors is not yet known.

The physical power and volume control buttons on the right side are available on the Galaxy A52 5G. Next to a USB Type-C port, a single down-firing speaker, and a microphone, a 3.5mm headphone jack sits on the bottom edge. On the top edge, a secondary microphone can be seen. The SIM tray has also been moved to the top by Samsung. So the phone’s left side should be free of any buttons or ports.

The size of the new phone will be 159.9 x 75.1 x 8.4 mm, and the thickness will expand to almost 10 mm where the camera bump is located.

There is no indication when these devices could be launched on the Galaxy A52 5G, or even the recently leaked Galaxy A32 5G. The Galaxy A51 5G launched at $499, and maybe it is prudent to expect a similar price point, considering how similar the A52 5G seems to it. Or even slightly lower, because 5G these days is less of a novelty. We’re going to have to wait a little while for the official details, but there’s still no hint as to when they might come.
