Qualcomm announces new immersive entertainment experiences mobile platform for Snapdragon 678. For premium mobile experiences with upgraded performance, dynamic camera features, and improved streaming capabilities, Snapdragon 678 meets high demand.

The following performance upgrade over Snapdragon 675 is given by Snapdragon 678:
- Qualcomm® Kryo™ 460 CPU core clock speed up to 2.2GHz
- Qualcomm® Adreno™ 612 GPU performance increase
The Kyro 460 CPU core clock speed has been increased to up to 2.2 GHz, according to Qualcomm, and the performance and overall speed of the Adreno 612 GPU has been enhanced, resulting in improved graphics rendering. For”true-to-life” audio in movies, music streaming, and gaming, Qualcomm’s Aqstic audio features are included.
Now, the processor can handle image processing up to 48 MP. The Snapdragon 678 chipset allows users to capture HD 4K video with recording capabilities, such as slo-mo recording, 5x optical zoom, and portrait mode, with up to 16 MP dual camera support for videography.
The Snapdragon X12 LTE modem drives upload and download speeds super-fast, plus fast response times. With downloads up to 600Mbps and uploads up to 150Mbps, it supports advanced carrier aggregation.
