The Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra specs(specifications), in depth, have just emerged. This expertise comes from WinFuture. On January 14th, with the Galaxy S21 Ultra and its smaller sister versions, Samsung will usher in the new smartphone year” that much is certain. There is still hardly any data about the latest devices, however. That’s changing now because all the technical details are open to us.
The Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra (5G) is the Korean electronics giant’s latest top model for the most popular smartphone series. Once again the manufacturer is making a huge splash with the product and is also introducing a new design in which the camera module is now also directly enclosed by the housing frame, at least partially.
The Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra specs leaked
It’s the Exynos 2100, beginning with the SoC, considering this is the European spec sheet for the unit. The US version will be operated by the 888 Snapdragon.
In any scenario, the Exynos 2100 is a 64-bit octa-core processor, consisting of three cores clocked at 2.8Ghz, four at 2.4Ghz, and one at 2.9Ghz in this case. It’s a 5nm chip, we think. Speaking of which in January the chip will become official.
Ultra-bright 6.8-inch WQHD + display
A 6.8-inch Infinity-O-Edge display, which is a Dynamic AMOLED 2X display, will feature on the unit. It is going to be a 515 ppi WQHD+ (3200 x 1440) display. Gorilla Glass 7 will protect the display and will have a dynamic refresh rate (1-120Hz).
Samsung allows the S21 Ultra display to operate at adjustable refresh rates between one and 120 Hertz, so that it operates very energy-efficient due to very low refresh rates or very fluid material display thanks to very high refresh rates. The panel is also characterized by a maximum brightness of up to 1600 candela, which is extremely high.
The manufacturer officially speaks of a Dynamic AMOLED 2X display, but refers to it as an Infinity-O Edge Display as well. This means that the front camera is enclosed by the screen entirely and sits on the upper edge in a hole. The cover of the panel is made of Gorilla Glass 7, better known as Victus Gorilla Glass, which is intended to provide better scratch and knock resistance.
Hybrid-Optic-Zoom connects two zoom cameras
One of the other key features of the Galaxy S21 Ultra is its cameras. Not only does Samsung have a laser autofocus for the unit, but also two telephoto zoom lenses with distinct focal lengths or magnifications. The focus, however is the latest main 108 megapixel sensor, which has 0.8 micrometers of pixel edge length and an optical image stabilizer.
Also included on the back will be a 12-megapixel ultra-wide unit (f/2.2 aperture, 120-degree FoV, 13mm lens, 1.4um pixel size). Samsung will have two 10-megapixel telephoto cameras on top of that.
In the S21 Ultra, Samsung has mounted two zoom cameras, each of which provides three and ten magnification options. Both have a resolution of 10 megapixels and potentially use the same sensor with a pixel edge length of 1.22 micrometers and a size of 1 / 3.24′, as well as an optical image stabilizer.
However, one zoom camera has a wide field of view of 35 degrees and a focal length equivalent. The second zoom camera has a field of view of just 10 degrees, but it should have a focal length equivalent to 240 millimeters due to the periscope optics. The aperture size is f / 2.4 (3x) and f / 4.9 (10x) (10x).
The front camera has a very high 40-megapixel resolution and uses a 1/2.8′ sensor with a 0.7-micrometer pixel edge length, an 80-degree field of view and an f/2.2 aperture, as well as an integrated autofocus. 8K UHD- video with 30 frames per second, 4K UHD video with 60 frames per second and 1080p Full HD video with a maximum of 240 frames per second are supported, according to Samsung.
Using a 45 watt power adapter or fast wireless charging, it has a 5000mAh battery that can be charged easily. However as planned, for the Galaxy S21 Ultra in Germany, Samsung does not provide a power adapter, so only a USB-C data cable is included.
The usual AKG headphones are no longer available and the factory cover no longer exists. The Galaxy S21 Ultra, according to our sources, weighs 228 grams and is housed in a glass and metal housing that is also IP68 accredited and is thus advertised as waterproof and dustproof. There are stereo speakers again and a fingerprint reader based on ultrasound. Android 11 is the operating system
With the latest UI for the Samsung One 3.1. The versions available in Germany for the Galaxy S21 Ultra 5G are essentially dual SIM models with two NanoSIM slots.
The Galaxy S21 Ultra typically uses 12GB of RAM in Europe. 128, 256 or 512 gigabytes of UFS memory are integrated depending on the model, which can however, not be extended using a microSD card slot. According to Ax Standard, the S21 Ultra supports WiFi 6, Bluetooth 5.x as well as NFC and 5G mobile communications.
Other reports have already said, however, that the S21 Ultra should cost at least EUR 1399.
