Later this year, Samsung will present the Galaxy A82 5G . The device will successor the Galaxy A80, which was especially remarkable specs for the rotating camera module. Samsung is working on a sequel to the Galaxy A80, called the Galaxy A82, according to a recent article from the Dutch tech website GalaxyClub.
In addition, the website states that it “cannot say with certainty” whether the Samsung Galaxy A82 would also have a flipping camera mechanism. So if the Galaxy A80 successor lacks the feature, you might want to pick up a Zenfone 6 or Zenfone 7 instead.
That seems to be going to happen this year. Data that reached us suggests that Samsung is working on the Galaxy A82. In the A-series, the smartphone neatly enters the list of the latest Samsung phones. Galaxy A12 and Galaxy A32 have already been launched – soon to be followed by Galaxy A52 and Galaxy A72.
The Galaxy A82, except that it is going to be a 5G smartphone as well. Currently, at the moment, we can not even tell with certainty if the device has a slide-out camera. Finally, as the Note 10 Lite, the computer that was once developed as the A81 ultimately came on the market. And while it is easy to assume that the device would have the SM-A826B model number, we are unable to confirm this.
That does not change the fact that it is interesting to see how Samsung is putting the Galaxy A82 on the market between the Galaxy A72 and the Galaxy S2 1, which is still reasonably affordable. Or to be more precise: for what features are distinctive.
A Snapdragon 730 chipset, an OLED screen, and a 3,700mAh battery were also brought to the Galaxy A80. Therefore, since 5G consumes more power, we will expect the new phone to carry a Snapdragon 700 series or Exynos 1080 chipset, as well as a bigger battery.
The Galaxy A82 development seems to be at a very early stage at the moment. We would not be surprised if, in or after the summer, the device would never see the light of day. But as already said, several other phones will be on the market before then, from the aforementioned A52 to the Galaxy S21 Ultra launched last week and all in between. The Galaxy Z Fold 3 and / or Z Flip 3 are included.
