The Moto G10 and Moto G30 have just been announced by Motorola. There are numerous features on both phones, such as a quad-camera setup with a similar camera housing, a rear fingerprint scanner, 5,000mAh battery, IP52 design, waterdrop notch, and a 6.5-inch HD+ LCD screen. A 3.5mm port, Android 11, and Bluetooth 5 are other specifications. But the similarities end there, with the more capable offering being the Moto G30.
The Moto G30 price starts at EUR 179.99 and comes with color options for Pastel Sky and Phantom Black. The Moto G10 price starts at EUR 149.99 and comes in colors of Aurora Grey and Iridescent Pearl. They will be available on the European market for purchase by the end of this month. No information on international availability has been shared by Motorola yet.
Moto G30 specifications
The near-identical designs of the Moto G10 and Moto G30 are based around similar 6.5in 20:9 HD+ ‘Max Vision’ IPS LCDs, with the G30 upping the ante in areas such as camera, performance and storage.
Despite similar screens, the screen of the G30 has a higher refresh rate of 90Hz (compared to the 60Hz of the G10) and despite similar cameras – with the same quad-pixel capture technology, 118-degree ultra-wide angle sensor, macro sensor and depth sensor – the device of the G10 is powered by a 48Mp snapper, whereas the G30 moves to a 64Mp unit. The 13Mp front-facing snapper of the G30 also trumps the 8Mp offering of the G10.
