The Samsung Galaxy S20 is on its way and this week, leaks were rolling out. We have a short spec list today for the Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra and it’ll be pretty crazy.
The Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra will be packing some serious power, according to Max Weinbach, the author responsible for some recent XDA leaks over. This starts with the storage and RAM this reach the ceiling for what we’ve seen on Android up to now.
The Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra will presumably sell a base model with 128 GB of storage and 12 GB of RAM. From there the storage can be expanded to 256 GB or 512 GB with a still on board microSD card slot to increase the overall package by up to 1 TB. Also, Samsung might be putting out one of the first 16 GB RAM smartphones with the Ultra, a frankly insane amount.
Of course, this will be combined with the Snapdragon 865 processor that will also help power the 5G radios and 120Hz display. This should be a lightning-fast smartphone with all that power onboard.
However, the Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra could be the only S20 to include a 108MP camera, since other variants were tipped to have only a 12MP sensor. A 48MP 10x optical zoom lens and an ultra-wide 12MP camera will flank the main sensor. Apparently Samsung is also preparing the device with a 100x “space zoom” option.
Apparently, the Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra will have a 5,000 mAh battery to fuel all these insane specs. The battery will also charge via USB-C at 45W and go in just 74 minutes from 0-100%.
The Galaxy S20 Ultra looks like an absolute unit entering this new year, and it will most likely be the most spectacular phone we’ll see in the coming months. Stay tuned, on 11th February Samsung launches the Samsung Galaxy S20 series.
