One aspect of Android 10 is enhanced protection of privacy, such as limiting access to place when apps are in use and centralized settings. An update to today’s Device Personalization Services presents a new system control that is responsible for the smart projections of Android.
The “system component” of the Device Personalization Services is updated via Google Play and features such as “Suggested Launcher Actions, Overview and Other Smart Text Selection, and Automatic Text Link.
Version 2.0.268948072 brings a new Device Personalization Services menu today (versus 2.0.264613662) to the privacy page of Android 10. This serves to disclose and indicate what the service is doing for end users and provides them with the option to “Clear all data stored by Device Personalization Services.”
Like other menus, in relation to the description, there is a cover animation which gives a visual depiction. This Google Support Document for Pixel Devices also has a “Learn more” connection. Tapping “Clear data” opens a pop-up that lets you pick the time to remove: last hour, last 24 hours, and all time.
