OnePlus vowed to improve the video experience across all its smartphones in 2020.
Much of the focus at the annual Open Ears Forum in New York was on the video quality of the latest OnePlus crop of smartphones, and attendees were able to provide honest feedback directly to engineers and the software team behind popular devices. OnePlus has now released its own comments from the Open Ears Forum Q&A sessions.

Most notable were the promises to improve levels of exposure and white balance, consistency of skin-tone and support for multiple camera lens. You can read the full comments below:
While there is definitely a lot to unpack there, it’s nice to see OnePlus tackling the shortcomings of its head-on video offering in such a manner. As more and more people look to their smartphone as the main tool for day-to-day video recording, any improvements will be seen as a major bonus. For upcoming OnePlus OxygenOS builds we will only have to wait and see video improvements. Let’s also hope the still photography modes can be improved too.
