Samsung Galaxy S20 series is set to kick off the 2020 smartphone season with a bang, and official Galaxy S20 renders have leaked as the event approaches.
We have official renders of all three Samsung Galaxy S20 models, with the help of Ishan Argawal and 91Mobiles. Let’s begin with the standard Samsung Galaxy S20 and S20+. Perhaps these devices will be the most popular of Samsung’s upcoming lineup and they are pretty good-looking smartphones.
The standard Galaxy S20 is pictured in blue underneath. Apparently the color variant is called Cloud Blue, and will be available for all three S20 models. Other S20 and S20 + colors include Cosmic Black and Cosmic Grey, with the smaller S20 coming in a Cloud Pink option as well. The pink model hasn’t been pictured yet, but if a render of it becomes available we’ll update this article.
The Samsung Galaxy S20+, pictured below, has the same design as the smaller Samsung Galaxy S20, but it is a bigger smartphone which also includes an extra ToF camera sensor. On the rear, both units share the same primary 12MP, 64MP telephoto, and ultra-wide 12MP shooters. This latest report also reiterates a 6.2-inch display and the standard S20 4,000 mAh battery with 4,500 mAh and 6.7 inches for the Samsung Galaxy S20+. There is also mention of both models arriving at a 128 GB storage base with no higher levels.
Perhaps the most exciting phone in Samsung upcoming lineup is the Galaxy S20 Ultra and its official renders paint a slightly different picture from standard Samsung Galaxy S20 models. In the camera department comes the major change between the Ultra and standard models. The layout of the sensor is a bit cleaner with the three main sensors in a tidy square that includes the LED flash. Below that the glass surrounding the 10x “Space Zoom” lens is coated with a slightly different texture. The lens is used to create 100x digital zoom with some software tricks.
This device is available in Cosmic Black, Cosmic Grey and Cloud Blue, the first two of which are pictured below.
What about price? Earlier this week there was a rumor about this, and today’s report backs it up further. In Europe the standard Samsung Galaxy S20 would start at € 899 with the 5G variant costing € 999. The Samsung Galaxy S20+ 5G costs then € 1,099 with the Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra 5G costs € 1,349.
